Geoffrey K. Ngasura Sang

Geoffrey K. Ngasura Sang is a Research Scientist based at the Scientifics and Ethics Review Unit at the Kenya Medical Research Institute.

Geoffrey believes in hard work, dedication and teamwork, values which have made him be the Units key support in planning and logistics. He is a member of KEMRI Research Ethics Committees (REC) and also serves as the Unit’s Quality Assurance point person.

Geoffrey holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Biomedical Research Ethics from CBEC-Karachi and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from Mt. Kenya University. He also has a certificate in International Research and Ethics from Moi-Indiana University. Additionally, he has undertaken several other certificate level training courses including; Clinical Research Ethics (CBEC-KEMRI), International Leadership and Management in Health (University of Washington-KEMRI). He holds Student (PGD) with CBEC-Karachi.

Geoffrey is a committee member of Bioethics Society of Kenya, a volunteer with Presidents Award Kenya as an assessor and The Current Captain of KEMRI Ultimate Frisbee Club.
