Prof. Violet Naanyu

Violet Naanyu, PhD, MA, MA, MSc is an Associate Professor, Moi University Kenya, Visiting Scholar, Aga Khan University Kenya and Graduate Faculty Scholar Northern Illinois University, USA. She is Co-Field Lead Research, AMPATH Kenya (ampathkenya.org/research), Member, National Scientific and Ethics Committee, Kenya and serves on several research boards/groups including the International Centre for Reproductive Health (www.icrhk.org); The Irsay Institute (https://irsay.iu.edu/); and the Indigenous Populations Working Group (IPWG), Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (https://www.gacd.org/). She is trained in Sociology, Anthropology, and Bioethics and her 26 years of health research publications span several African nations. She is serving as BSK Education Officer.
